Networks are the coming together of a group of enterprises of whatever size, to use their combined talents and resources to achieve results that would not be possible
if the enterprises operated individually.
What is the role of the Network?
Training Networks are made up of companies, large and small that come together to jointly address the training needs of the individual members. To do this, they collaborate with other enterprises; engage experts, trainers, certifying bodies and other industry bodies to identify knowledge gaps and to source relevant training.
Why support training networks?
It is generally recognised that training in employment has many benefits:
Long term sustained competitive advantage
High skills lead to: improved performance, improved quality, higher output
Increase management effectiveness in participant companies
Promote the best practice in the industry
Enable participant companies to benchmark against best in class
Provide a forum which fosters a mentoring/ coaching ethos between larger and smaller participant companies as well as experienced and less experienced consultants.
Reduce isolation and avoid duplication in training efforts in member companies
Facilitate networking among member as part of dynamic business forum.
